The International Break is often a boring time for managers but not for Jose Mourinho. The 3-time Premier League champion made a surprise appearance in Stormzy's new music video Mel Made Me Do It today.
The current Roma manager appears halfway through the 10-minute music video when the British rapper refers to him.
They love to talk about the old days, them man are old like, Annie are you okay? I prefer not to speak like I am José.

The track then cuts to one of the Portuguese's most famous quotes. In March 2014, his Chelsea side suffered a 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa where two of his players were sent off. Understandably frustrated with the referee's decisions, he decided to stay quiet on the matter and not get fined.

The 59-year-old is currently enjoying life in Serie A. His Roma side sit 6th in the table, just 4 points off the top. With Paulo Dybala signing this summer, fans will be hoping his partnership with Tammy Abraham will continue to improve.
Other football references
Jose Mourinho was not the only reference to football the British rapper made during the song. He also referred to Chelsea striker Aubameyang saying, "For eight figures I'm Aubameyang, I go and sign the ting"
The most surprising reference, however, was that to recently sacked Bournemouth manager Scott Parker.

Unsurprisingly, unlike Jose Mourinho, the Englishman does not make an appearance in the video. Hopefully "The Special One" has started a new trend and we might see more managers make appearance in music videos.
