Jose Mourinho doesn't lose very often. Especially in a home league game. Which is why when the mighty Crystal Palace downed the champions at Stamford Bridge 2-1 that it's highly noteworthy.
In fact, it's so rare for Mourinho to lose at Stamford Bridge that it's only happened twice in his career. One weird stat is that there is only one player who played against him in both of those games.
Another weird coincidence is the developing trend of managers that have beaten Mourinho. Take a look:
Sure it's weird, but is there something in it? Thankfully for Chelsea fans, they don't face any manager with a P at the beginning of their surname until late November when Mauricio Pochettino and his Spurs team host the Premier League champions.
Now that certainly isn't a death knell because Tony Pulis' West Brom lost to Chelsea just last week, despite running them close.
