José Mourinho certainly hasn't been shy with the Manchester United chequebook since taking the reins at Old Trafford this summer.
The former Chelsea boss has already smashed the world transfer record with the signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus and United fans will be buoyed to learn that it doesn't look like his spending will be stopping any time soon.
French star Antoine Griezmann, he who broke Irish hearts during Euro 2016, is said to be the next high profile target on Mourinho's hit-list. The Portuguese previously attemped to bring Griezmann to Chelsea but his advances were rejected before any deal could be struck. It is now thought that Atletico Madrid's resolve could be tested if a world record transfer bid was sent (assuming their fax machine works again, that is) to Atletico HQ.

Atletico have always been considered a club willing to sell their star player if the bid is large enough. The Frenchman is their chief attacking threat and has hit the back of the net a very respectable 57 times in the last couple of seasons. Mourinho has long been of the opinion that the forward would be a huge hit in the Premier League and with Chief Executive Ed Woodward clearly backing his transfer strategies thus far, it seems that the Portuguese may actually get his man next summer - and this is a scary thought for the other 19 teams England's top division.
