When Jose Mourinho gets involved with Charity matches, he usually fulfills the cursory role as 'manager'. Occasionally though, he has demonstrated his willingness to get involved beyond his managerial remit.
Well, as a host of celebrities and ex-pros sought to do their bit for the victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster today, there was no room for any more managers - Alan Shearer and Les Ferdinand had these positions sewn up.
So, what was Mourinho to do? Referee? Commentator perhaps? Nah, Jose Mourinho would be going in goals.

Although David's James and Seaman started the game in either goals, fans at QPR's Loftus Road were pretty pleased when the Man United manager eventually emerged. Replacing James, he came on to chants of 'Mourinho, Mourinho'.
Not cutting quite the imposing figure of James, it wasn't the size of the dog that mattered as Mourinho proceeded to inform the linesman of his disapproval of an offside decision - he was also booked for time-wasting.

As so often happens in these scenarios, Team Shearer and Team Ferdinand had to settle this tie with penalties.
With what we imagine was very little encouragement, Mourinho stepped up to take a penalty against Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno.

His attempts at saving them were not as successful however.
Displaying all the competitive spirit you would expect of Mourinho throughout, he was a big hit with his players and the fans alike.
Someone even put together his full highlights as if he were a player linked to a Premier League club:
