Gini Wijnaldum's career has taken another hit, with the Dutch international expected to miss the upcoming FIFA World Cup after breaking his leg in training. Wijnaldum joined Jose Mourinho's Roma side on loan a couple of weeks ago after an underwhelming season at PSG.
After impressing under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool for five seasons, Wijnaldum made the move to the French capital, but he found it difficult to nail down a starting place in their stacked midfield.

Some people online blamed youngster Felix Afana-Gyan for Wijnaldum's injury after reports came out during the week that Gyan had been the one who tackled their new signing.
Jose Mourinho on Wijnaldum's injury
With Gyan receiving a lot of hate and abuse from people online, Jose Mourinho released a statement on his Instagram account, where he called people that were targeting Gyan "scum".
Jose Mourinho said:
"Sometimes football can be sh*t. In only 2 weeks, Gini became one of us because of his human qualities (his football qualities we already knew).Sadly, in a very unfortunate accident he had a bad injury that will keep him away from playing for a long time.
"But it's not just football to be sh*t sometimes, people can also be...
"Those who initiated the rumours that a top kid like Felix could be responsible for what happened are real scum.
"Let's all be together tonight: we play for @officialasroma, for @gwijnaldum and for @ohenegyanfelix9."
It's awful timing for the former Newcastle and Liverpool man to get such a serious injury. It looked like a move to the Serie A could be ideal for Wijnaldum, but it's a huge blow for both Roma and the player himself.
