Jordan Henderson Is Asking For Much More If He's To Stay At Liverpool

The weekend from Hell for Brendan Rodgers ended last night with Jordan Henderson apparently turning down a five year £80,000 a week deal at Anfield.

While young Raheem is after £160,000, the more modest Henderson is merely angling for a deal worth in the region of £100,ooo a week.

Chelsea are on their guard (they are 'monitoring the situation' according to the English papers) and ready to swoop but the Daily Mail for one are insistent that an improved offer will be enough to keep Henderson at Liverpool.

Still, it's been a harrowing few weeks.
