The striker and right-back O'Connor both converted penalties as Celtic progressed 4-2 in the shoot-out.
Afolabi joined the Scottish side last summer, reportedly turning down five other clubs to do so. At the time he stated he was willing to put in work to progress to Neil Lennon's team.
f I can learn from the senior players, I’ll hopefully have the chance to play in front of these great fans.
With such a talented pool of players, it’s going to take time and hard work to break in, to prove myself to the manager and the dressing room.
