If you haven't listened already, we treated Mikey to a huge surprise on our fantasy football podcast this week when we revealed the details of the Stoke City team's fantasy league.

Yep, all the lads are in there and guess who's top? None other than our own Jon Walters. A champion in every way. However, we can't let this moment go by without mentioning one very strange tactic he employed last week.

Big Jonny decided to play his bench boost chip last weekend, on his way to getting 66 points. To those of you not familiar with the new feature, the bench boost means that the points your substitutes get will actually count towards your overall score. Now let's take a look at Walters' bench for a second.

As you can see, it includes a very injured Vincent Kompany for a start but also features Bournemouth's Calum Wilson and Tyrone Mings. Walters clearly must have fancied them to do well last weekend. Except the thing is they were playing Stoke!

What was he thinking? Was he expecting his own side would get a hiding? One would have to wonder what thoughts went through his head when he actually went and scored against them. Talk about a bittersweet moment. He was probably also disgusted he hadn't made himself captain.

Anyhow, we also ran our eye over the rest of the Stoke league, including Shay Given and Glenn Whelan's teams, on the podcast. You can listen below.
