Only a matter of days after confirming a loan move back to Ipswich Town, Jon Walters has proved his worth in the East Anglian derby draw with Norwich City.
Having already spent three years with Ipswich Town (including an interesting season under Roy Keane's management), Walters was reportedly happy to be leaving Burnley for Portman Road.
Suitably enough, Walters arrival at Ipswich coincided with today's highly-anticipated clash with Norwich City; the 'Old Farm' derby.
Selected by Paul Hurst to start up front alongside Kayden Jackson, Jon Walters repaid his manager's faith, creating the assist for Ipswich's solitary goal in a 1-1 draw.
Finished off (rather fortuitously) by Gwion Edwards, it nevertheless signals a great start to Walters career back in the EFL Championship.
