Joleon Lescott's Reason For One Of The Most Obnoxious Tweets Ever Reeks Of Bullshit

You should be fully aware by now that Aston Villa were embarrassed live on Sky Sports on Sunday afternoon as they lost 6-0 to Liverpool, providing a new low to an already depressing season for fans of the club.

Those Villa fans were then extremely pissed off to see what appeared to be an utterly obnoxious response to criticism by Joleon Lescott, who tweeted a picture of a very expensive Mercedes in the aftermath of the defeat.

The responses to that tweet were vast, and many of them hilarious:

However, it was all a big misunderstanding if you believe Joleon Lescott, which we are really struggling to do after he explained that the tweet was accidentally sent from his pocket while driving.

He tweeted to defuse the situation, offering an apology for his performance as well:

Anyone who has been pocket-texted or tweeted in the past will know that it's usually a mash-up of random characters that comes out as gibberish, and rarely is it a picture of a car.

A bad day all-around for the former Man City man.

To be fair, he's made it an awful lot harder for himself.
