Since 2010 the Drogs have had nine managers with only Mick Cooke being what you could call a success. Despite that, the Drogs have admirably held on to their Premier Division status despite a vastly reduced budget. That status is now under threat however, with Friday's 4-1 defeat at home to Limerick ensuring Drogheda's slip towards the bottom of the table continues.
They're now just four points above Limerick at the bottom of the table and considering the run of form they are on, the smart money seems to be on Drogheda slipping into the First Division at the end of the season. They've rolled the dice once more and seem to be hoping that another new manager can shake things up to the extent that they can avoid the drop again.
