Everyone's laughing at Chelsea's troubles at the moment. You can't but take some enjoyment in it when you take into account the kind of club culture that has been built up around Stamford Bridge over the past few years. The constant blaming of others has become tedious in the extreme.
Everyone is out to get them and they really seem to care. But when that manifests in a manner such as that which we've seen with John Terry today then everyone's a winner. Terry followed up Jose Mourinho's press conference with one of his own and once again the criticism that's been levelled at Chelsea was presented to him. But then it got interesting.
JT says can take criticism from top ex-players like Rio Ferdinand, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville, but not ones like Robbie Savage. #CFC

Wonderful stuff but the full quote, as per the Guardian, is even better.
On the first bit, it’s a case of, for me, we are where we are as a group. I’ve come under criticism, individually, from certain players and individuals, players I’ve looked up to and played alongside. I’ve taken that on the chin: Rio, Carra, Neville, the very best I’ve come up against in the game. I take that on the chin.
When others speak, maybe I don’t take it on the chin. When players have not had a career, played at a really bad level in their career ... Robbie Savage being one. He’s dug me out a couple of times. You take it as a footballer, as an individual. I’ll take it from the Rios, Carraghers and Neville. All day long. From others? Nah.
Glorious. As plenty of people have already pointed out, John Terry going head to head with Robbie Savage is the kind of war where the neutral can't lose.
