John O'Shea played for the 118th and final time for Ireland on Saturday night, captaining Martin O'Neill's side for the opening 33 minutes against the USA at the Aviva.
Though his international career is over, his club one is not.
Sky Sports News reports that the 37-year-old is set to join Reading. It's said that a deal has been agreed with the Championship side.
Reading, who just barely avoided relegation this season, are currently managed by Paul Clement. He took over from Jaap Stam in March following a disappointing run.
O'Shea moves to Reading after seven years at Sunderland, the club which he joined in 2011 following his departure from Manchester United.
The Waterford man played 40 times for Sunderland last season as they were relegated from the second tier of English football.
