Alejandro Garnacho is the brightest young star to come out of Man United in recent years, and although he has bags of potential, the youngster still has a lot of work to do.
The Argentina native is currently the club's top scorer this season with eight goals, although has been disappointing in recent weeks, and struggling to remain on the pitch under Ruben Amiron,
Cristiano Ronaldo was once a tricky teenager who broke onto the Man United team, and although he showed great promise early on, there was still a lot of question marks regarding his lack of physicality and end product in front of goal.
After a few seasons though, Ronaldo found his feet and never looked back as he went on to enjoy one of the greatest careers football has ever seen.
Naturally, these parallels between Garnacho and Ronaldo's start at Old Trafford, have resulted in some people drawing comparisons between the two players.
However, speaking to GOAL, former United and Ireland defender John O'Shea, thinks that the young footballer has a long way to go.

“Not yet, there’s definitely some spectacular goals which are very similar, [but] Alejandro will have to keep improving.
“Ronaldo used to be able to get away with certain things on the pitch – eventually his team-mates would have been happy with him not running or chasing back because he was producing, he was always getting goals, there were always assists, there was always end product.
"Until you get to that level of consistency you have to match your work rate around the team as well, it’s not just Garnacho, all the players have to realise that.
“If you’re not going to track back, you’re not going to put in the hard yards, your team-mates aren’t going to be too happy with you, unless you’re getting goals and assists every game.”
Ronaldo also had the benefit of playing in a much more successful team, alongside proven winners in the game like Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, while Garnacho has always been a part of a United side that has been struggling for consistency.
The Red Devil's will be hoping that is going to change soon, and a reason for that change could be the Argentine's performances.
