A day earlier than his usual slot - due to tomorrow's qualifier against Germany - John Giles was on Off The Ball on Wednesday evening.
Giles spoke at length about the sacking of Brendan Rodgers, the mooted appointment of Jurgen Klopp and the transfer committee situation at Anfield.
He also boiled down Rodgers' often long-winded nature to one perfectly put line.
I was very critical of him at times because I think he used to talk too much and promise too much. He had this business talk or business speak, rather than football talk.
At times he was like the fella who you'd ask the time and he'd tell you how to build a clock.
You can listen to Giles on Off the Ball below.
