Infantino stood for UEFA in the absence of Michel Platini, who is suspended from football for 6 years, was understandably overjoyed:

Infantino will be most recognisable to you as the man who did the competition draws for UEFA. In his absence today, the Europa League threw up the first European meeting between Liverpool and Manchester United in history, so they appear to be doing fine without him.
