Liverpool FC and Republic of Ireland legend John Aldridge surprised football fans by working behind the tills at a Ladbrokes betting shop on Wexford Street in Dublin on Sunday.
Known for his remarkable goalscoring record and significant contributions to Ireland’s World Cup campaigns in Italia ’90 and USA ’94, Aldo was always fan favourite.
Fans seized the opportunity to snap selfies and request autographs, creating a memorable experience for all involved.
Adding to the excitement, Aldridge rewarded two lucky customers with an all-expenses-paid trip to Anfield to watch Liverpool take on Fulham next month.
Lifelong fans Mark Kenny and Darren Bevins were thrilled to receive the surprise, as they had only visited Anfield once before.
