Toulon and Marseille have announced they are to play a pre-season charity match which will feature one half of football and one half of rugby. How in Gods name that will work hasn't been made clear but we are all for a free for all that is playing out in our minds. The match is called "The Shock" and its safe to say everyone is rooting for Joey Barton to stay at Marseille and face down Mathieu Bastareaud and be unceremoniously squashed. Conversely the sight of Bastareaud playing football is one to warm the heart. This is one brilliant idea.
