Footballer and part-time philosopher Joey Barton is out of contract with Burnley this summer.
The midfielder was a key part of Sean Dyche's team as they won the Championship and made an immediate return to the Premier League.
Last month, Barton was named on the PFA's Championship Team of the Season. He was also Burnley's Player of the Season, scoring three times in the league from his midfield role.

Despite his success with Burnley and his obvious worth to them, the 33-year-old is yet to agree a new deal with the club.
Surprisingly, rather than making a return to the Premier League, Barton could be turning out next season for another side making their return to top flight football.
Both the BBC and Sky Sports are reporting that Barton is negotiations with Rangers.

Further more, STV are reporting Barton is in advanced negotiations for a two-year deal at Ibrox. Given his age, there is a chance Burnley do not want to give him a contract longer than a year and Barton would prefer the added security.
Another factor in Barton making the move to the Scottish Premiership could be Frank McParland who is head of recruitment with Rangers. McParland was at Burnley when Barton made the move there.
Joey Barton in an Old Firm game, that would be interesting.
Oh, an interesting tidbit: Barton once claimed he was a Celtic fan.
