Joey Barton has tweeted a picture of his PFA Player of the Year ballot paper, showing his choices for Players' Player and Young Player of the Year. He concedes that his choice of Luis Suárez for the main award is a "no brainer", but his young player may raise some eyebrows, especially as he admits that he was a "former critic"...
How I voted in PFA ballet. Suarez no brainer. Henderson has had a complete turn around. I was once a critic. pic.twitter.com/OvMbDqOoGD

Not only is this tweet interesting because of Barton's selections, as a secret ballot the PFA voting process tends to be quite a private issue for players. Also, it's almost quaint that players are asked to list the club that their selection plays for. Barton also showed his team of the year selections. Earlier this week, West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster tweeted his team of the year, to the delighted relief of fans everywhere.
Champ team of the season. Well players I thought were the best in their positions. pic.twitter.com/pECj80TRZT

Unsurprisingly, Barton received some flak for his choices, and responded to his critics in typical fashion:
Look you have one vote. I had 5 mins before training. Henderson got mine. You don't like it. Get off your arse. Be a player and get a vote.
