What a journey Joe Gomez has been on over the last three years. The 18-year-old seems to have cemented his place at left-back in the Liverpool side this season, with impressive displays in keeping Aaron Ramsey and the like quiet.

He's no doubt hoping now that he can keep his place, push for an England call-up and help his club back into the Champions League. It was only three years ago that his aspirations were a little more grounded.
