Ok, Monday Night Football was pretty much taken over by one man, but that didn't stop Ireland's Jeff Hendrick from shining beneath the floodlights: he scored his first Premier League goal for Burnley against Watford.
Hendrick's goal was a cracking header from a corner, leaning back to somehow generate the neck strength to head home from 12 yards.
While Hendrick took a long time to get his first international goal - the first came against Serbia earlier this month - he has wasted little time in getting off the mark in the Premier League.
Jamie Carragher praised Hendrick's first-half finish, and there were plenty of a similar persuasion online, too, with one account digging up quite the stat:
Hendrick's just the tonic for Burnley.

To be fair, very few people made the classic Eamon Dunphy error:
With more preferring to meditate upon hs hair:
Has there ever been an Irish international with better hair than Hendrick? https://t.co/MwkwyH55qO

When you have hair as good as Hendrick you deserve goals like that. #BURWAT
