Neil Harris cut a content figure after watching his Millwall side secure a 2-1 Carabao Cup First Round win against West Bromwich Albion, with Irish prospect Jayson Molumby coming in for particular praise.
The Irish U21 midfielder joined the Championship club on loan during the summer, fresh from a superb showing in Toulon where he was named one of four players of the tournament. Speaking to the club's website, Harris hailed the Waterford man and predicted big things.
Jayson was outstanding. I think he showed the fans tonight his qualities and what a good player he's going to be in the future and for us as well while we have him.
He got 60 minutes tonight. He'll have wanted to stay on but we have to be mindful of him as he had an excellent summer in Toulon and then recovered from an injury. He's frustrated in his excitement of wanting to play, and we do have to calm that for him, but that's another game we have now against Oxford - a hell of a lot of football left to play.
