A number of English Championship clubs are reportedly considering making a move to sign Ireland midfielder Jason Knight this summer.
The 22-year-old - who was Man of the Match for Ireland in a 3-0 victory over Gibraltar on Monday - has a year left to run on his contract at Derby County.
John Percy of The Telegraph reported on Tuesday that Bristol City have already had two bids for Knight turned down by Derby.
#BristolCity transfer news - Derby have rejected 2 bids for midfielder Jason Knight, the latest at around £1.5m. Getting closer. Birmingham are also in talks with #dcfc over a permanent deal for Krystian Bielik of up to £1m #bcfc

According to The Daily Mail, Ipswich Town - who will play in the Championship this coming season after being automatically promoted from League One - are eyeing up the Dubliner as are Stoke City.
Knight made 47 appearances for Derby last season, scoring three goals and providing three assists. Should he stay at the club, it would be another season in League One for a player who has ambitions of playing at a higher level.
"I am an ambitious person, and I want to play at the highest level I can at club level and international level," Knight said on Monday.
"But it's a great club, there are a lot of great people there. And I think there are foundations being built again to make it go up the levels and there are certain people behind the scenes pushing it.
"There are good times ahead at Derby, the club is in a good place now.
"It's a fine line and I will have to assess everything in the summer. I'll get away for a couple of weeks and shut my mind off and make the decision in the pre-season."
