Romelu Lukaku looks likely to leave Everton this summer after refusing to sign a new contract at Goodison Park (per the Mail), surprising the Toffees in the process. Everton had expected Lukaku to sign an extension to his current deal, which has two years left to run - and with good reason, as they were going to pay him a club record £100,000 a week to do so.
Predictably, Jamie Carragher was quick to respond to the news. For a bit of context, at the end of February Carragher (a boyhood Everton fan) donned an Everton kit and trained alongside Lukaku at Everton's training ground for a piece on Sky Sports News:

And he referred to this upon hearing the news about the Belgian's refusal to agree terms:
I knew putting the Everton training kit on & going to the training ground to have a word with him would be worth it! https://t.co/NDCKA009hL

Well played, 'Agent Carra'. As for Lukaku, there will be no end of suitors to pick him up come summertime. Former club Chelsea will undoubtedly be among those, especially if Diego Costa leaves at the end of the season.
