Just quite what is going on in the head of former Liverpool and Leeds (and many more) striker El Hadji Diouf we will never know, but his now seemingly monthly shots at the best players he ever played with are getting more and more ridiculous.
His obsession with Carragher and Gerrard in particular is puzzling, as, perhaps jealous of the high regard with which the pair are kept by Liverpool fans, he regularly tells anyone who will listen that they are crap, ignoring the fact that he is now playing his trade in the Malaysian Premier League as no European club could stand the idea of employing him as a player.
His most recent jibes included claiming that he was better than Gerrard because he did more for Senegal than Stevie G did for England, and the following on Mr.Carragher:
The difference between Jamie and me is that I am a world-class player and he is a s**t. The type of s**t that writes a book and mentions me all the time. Me, in my book, he does not warrant one phrase: he's a f*****g loser.
Bafflingly stupid, I'm sure you'll agree.
Jamie took to twitter with a brief response, without taking the attack too seriously and poking fun at himself in the process:
The other big difference is he's scored less goals for LFC in the Premier League than me! (Not counting OG's!!) https://t.co/dwEA56c7NA

How Diouf manages to muster up the nerve to insult any Liverpool player after the total failure that was his Anfield career is beyond us, let alone two players who are considered legends by all who associate themselves with the club.
Carragher's tweet was good, but tt's not quite as enjoyable as John Arne Riise's retort the last time this happened, however.
