Chelsea took full advantage of the havoc wreaked by Storm Darragh and the cancellation of the Liverpool derby, closing the gap at the top of the Premier League table to four points with their four-goal comeback versus Tottenham.
Despite conceding two early goals against London rivals Tottenham, follow-ups from Jordan Sancho, Endo Fernandez and a brace of penalties from Cole Palmer saw Enzo Maresca's men run away 4-3 winners in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Ange Postecoglou's side got off to a dream start on Sunday with Dominic Solanke opening their account and Dejan Kulusevski netting two goals in the opening ten minutes. While Jordan Sancho would claim one back for the visitors Tottenham still lead by one at the break.
However, second-half capitulation once again struck for Spurs, as two penalties and another goal involvement from Cole Palmer brought their total tally to four - a blow to Tottenham that Son Heung-Min's 96th minute goal could only soften.

Jamie Carragher hits back at Liverpool fans
Despite Liverpool not playing this weekend, Jamie Carragher's row with his former fan base deepened after his post-match comments on the Chelsea game.
Speaking after Palmer's brace, Jamie Carragher made a bold claim about the 22-year-old, praising him as the best player in the Premier League over the past year and a half.
He gets the penalties, he's involved in the Fernandez goal as well, there's three or four players around him and that's what great players do, you fear when he's on the ball.
I loved him last season, he's started this season really well and if you look at his eighteen months at Chelsea, I don't think there's been a player in the Premier League who performed better than him, over these eighteen months.
While there's a strong case to be made for Carragher's claim, his omission of Liverpool talisman Mo Salah who has been enjoying a sensational season has further frustrated Liverpool fans, with plenty of them taking to social media to air their frustrations.
One claimed 'I can't believe Jamie Carragher (a Liverpool club legend) instantly jumped on Palmer's back while Salah has been absolutely lighting up the league', while another disgruntled red said 'no one thinks Palmer has been better than Salah this season other than Chelsea fans and Jamie Carragher'.
Carragher's claim only worsened the criticism he has already been receiving since he found himself embroiled in a row with Liverpool fans last week about his criticism of how Mo Salah was handling his contract negotiations with Liverpool.
Like he did last week, Carragher hasn't taken the criticism sitting down, with the Liverpool legend taking to social media on Sunday evening to hit back at fans criticising him, telling one 'desperate' page to stop following him.
Maybe you try harder at putting the full quote out! I said he's been the best player over 18 months which he has in my eyes.
And you probably know I said that but your desperation for likes & retweets knows no bounds. Your account is so bad, please stop following me.
He also reposted a tweet reiterating that while Salah has been the best-performing Premier League star in the last six months, Cole Palmer has been better over eighteen months.
In fairness to the 737 time-capped Liverpool legend, it's not the first time he's made the claim about Palmer, saying something similar on Sky Sports in September and reiterating in October - long before his Salah comments left his former fan base outraged.
