Liverpool fans are understandably excited about the imminent arrival of England international Nathaniel Clyne, who looks set to be the club's right-back for the foreseeable future after agreeing a £12.5m deal to make the switch from Southampton.
Clyne has enjoyed two impressive seasons in the Premier League for the Saints, and was also rumoured to be a target of Manchester United, but he has decided to make the switch to Anfield, and former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher is claiming responsibility for the deal:
Saw Nathaniel Clyne at St Mary's last season after a game & told him to sign for Lfc, he took the advice! I'm on the transfer committee now.

That was decent from Carragher, who has surprised a lot of people by becoming universally liked for his work with Sky Sports, and is the sort of thing we have come to expect from his twitter account, but when he replied to a fan's assertive rebuttal on the subject, we saw one very short and ultimately brilliant twitter argument:
"just over the moon you replied tbh" has to be the best ending to a twitter argument we've ever seen.
Adorable.
