Earlier today West Bromwich Albion confirmed the news that Republic of Ireland winger James McClean had joined the club from Wigan Athletic.
While the transfer hasn't cost the club a lot of money, and West Brom badly need some depth at the winger position, the reaction to the signing hasn't been entirely positive.
Some Albion fans see the signing as a sensible addition to add a spark when the team are struggling, but others are not happy at all. Here are the best, and worst, reactions that twitter had to offer.

#ashamed? That's a bit harsh isn't it?
He's the type of player Tony Pulis loves, we wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few of those WBA fans change their view after seeing McClean put in a shift for their side.
Even if you don't rate McClean, surely it's a low risk signing with a high up-side.
