The disgraceful scenes that took place at the Madjeski Stadium on Saturday afternoon that saw West Brom midfielder Chris Brunt struck by a coin thrown by the West Brom support have been condemned by the club, and Tony Pulis, and now Ireland international James McClean has taken to twitter to express his feelings.
Everyone right to be upset todays result, but to throw a coin at any player, esp one who has played over 300 games for the club...

...and hide not having the decency to own is up is just cowardly #coward #disgrace

And he's dead right.
It's a cowardly act to throw a coin from a crowd of people, but the West Brom fans who were also in the away end soon identified who they believed to be the culprit.
While we can not confirm that the individual captured on film below is indeed the man who threw the coin, the West Brom fans seemed certain, and they let him know just what they thought:

The coin hit Brunt just below his left eye. An inch higher and it could have been a career-threatening injury. Whoever threw the coin is an idiot of the highest order and should never be allowed set foot in a football stadium again once he is charged.
