All was a bit quiet at Landsdowne Road as a fairly dire Ireland pumped the ball from box to box in an utterly forgettable opening 25 or so minutes versus Austria.
The suggestion in this office was that we needed something to gee the crowd up and inspire Ireland's players into action; a crunching challenge or even a penalty shout.
Moments later, James McClean provided the former in rather comical circumstances. As the Ireland winger charged towards a 50-50 challenge with Austria's Zlatko Junuzovic, there was a relatively simple pass on to Harry Arter a couple of yards away. Instead, McClean won the ball and very intentionally bounced Junuzovic halfway to Derry with a very GAA-like shoulder.
Ireland trail 1-0 at the break, and might need another rousing moment from McClean in the second half, although something involving the ball might stand us in better stead.
