James McClean was not a happy man following Ireland's 1-1 draw with Austria at the Aviva Stadium.
Ireland were denied a penalty and had a potential game-winning goal disallowed in the dying moments as Austria clung on for a point having been relatively comfortable for the vast majority of the game.
Speaking to Tony O'Donoghue after the game, the relatively impressive James McClean explained how, 'in this day and age', criticising referees tends to result in a fine, before claiming Austria had a '12th man' on the field at Landsdowne Road this evening.
McClean also maintained that Ireland should have come away with three points - a difficult case to argue in that they only started playing properly six minutes from the end.
