While James McClean might have Stoke City's fixture against Blackpool on his mind, it's clear that the Irish international is also thinking about his former club Wigan Athletic and their financial problems.
Having slipped into administration in July, the future of the Latics remains unclear but McClean's recent donation of £5,000 should help them.
Wigan went into administration in July and their future remains uncertain following a points deduction and relegation to League One.
In response, the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club set up a GoFundMe page as they look to save their club.
The donation from the Ireland and Stoke City player helps bring the total above £250,000.
McClean played for Wigan from 2013 to 2015 and he's not the only former player to help the club out the cause. Joe Gelhardt, Joe Williams, and Chey Dunkley have all contributed.
McClean also wrote on the crowd-funding website: "Wonderful club where I had the privilege of two great playing years there, great people that looked after me and my family, hope the club gets back to where it belongs."
The Derryman scored 10 goals in 86 games for Wigan after joining from Sunderland in 2013.
McClean has a history of charitable donations, having previously paid for a handcycle bike for a young girl with Spina Bifida.
He also made a sizeable donation to the House in the Wells and the Foyle Valley House so he could help Derry's homeless problem over the festive period.
He dug out his old GAA club, Seán Dolan's, before that by sponsoring the club's jerseys, and he gave £1,000 to a Derry family who were heading to Florida so their four-year-old can receive treatment for rhabdomyosarcoma.
