Sky Sports are reporting that West Brom are closing in on a deal for James McClean.
They say that the Premier League side have made a third offer for the Wigan player today worth £1.5 million and the two clubs are now close to agreeing a deal.
Following relegation from the Championship, Wigan are looking to offload a number of players in order to bring their wage bill into line with the lower income they will receive as a League One club.
McClean was one of Wigan's better players last season. He played 36 games in the Championship, scoring six goals and getting six assists.
The possibility of the winger moving to the Hawthorns has divided West Brom fans so far.

James McClean? On the long list of talented players who are incredibly inconsistent. Not sensational, but worth a gamble for small fee #wba
