It looks like James McClean will be raring to go for Ireland's two Nations League games, with the Stoke winger returning from injury during his side's 2-0 win over Bolton.
The 29-year-old came on the pitch on 68 minutes, and made a telling contribution on 74 minutes when he picked out Tom Ince with a cross, the England man taking two touches before firing past Remi Matthews in goal:
McClean had missed the Potters last two games with a broken wrist, and it is heartening to see that the Derry man will be available for selection for Martin O'Neill for the upcoming international break.
Another man who could prove useful for O'Neill is Portsmouth striker Ronan Curtis, who scored the only goal in his side's win over Coventry in League One this evening.

The strike was Curtis' sixth of the season, and the 22-year-old will be looking to force his way into Martin O'Neill's plans, especially with the injury to Jonathan Walters and Shane Long's much publicised goal drought.
