Roddy Collins' time as Derry City manager ended yesterday with him leaving the club by mutual consent. Collins was just six months in charge at the Brandywell, a tenure which currently has Derry placed seventh with only two wins from twelve games. During that time even Collins admitted that he would not pay to watch the football which his side was playing.
Former Derry City player James McClean decided to voice his opinion on the Roddy Collins era on Twitter last night and the Wigan winger did not hold back.
Collins sacked by @derrycityfc was inevitable, poor signings, negative tactics/team selection e.g his son dear me, ego was bigger than club
