England’s squad was named earlier today for their upcoming Nations League games against Italy and Germany, with the 22-year-old left out of the squad despite his impressive start to the season.

After a difficult first season in the Premier League, Jadon Sancho looks to be a vital part of Erik Ten Haag’s plans for the season, with three goals already in all competitions. Like many of his team-mates after a difficult start to the season, Manchester United have found their rhythm under their new coach.
Sancho reminded Southgate of his qualities with a calm finish to give Manchester United the lead in their 2-0 victory over Sheriff FC. With their fixture against Leeds postponed due to lack of police resources available due to the Queen’s passing, Ten Haag fielded a full-strength side.
