Spanish paper AS are reporting Jackson Martinez's agent as saying that the player's move to Atletico Madrid is 'finalised'.
The 28-year-old was long linked with a move to Arsenal and most recently AC Milan.
However Diego Simeone's side have swooped in to pay Porto €35 million for the striker.
This is what Martinez's agent, Luiz Henrique Pompeo, had to say.
It was finalized today. We want to thank Milan for their interest right up the end, we feel very honoured by it, but you can't be in two places at once.
It's a very big club, which has done important things in the league and in Europe. Jackson is going there to also achieve great things and to bring the best out of himself to become even better. That's his dream and he's very excited. He's really happy.
The Colombian will reportedly sign a four-year deal.
Atletico recently offloaded Croatian international Mario Mandzukic to Juventus for €15 million and signed Argentinian striker Luciano Vietto from Villareal.
