You know you're the flavour of the month when you're Dad has to go on national radio just to shield you from some of the attention. Jack Grealish is very definitely in that category after his star turn against Liverpool on Sunday and his Dad is well and truly stepping up.

Kevin Grealish, Jack's father, appeared on Talksport today and fielded all the questions that everyone wants to ask his son. First and foremost, that slight quandary of his international allegiance.

Grealish then joked (hopefully) that this summer's friendly between Ireland and England in Dublin could see his son play 45 minutes for each nation. Oh the horror.

It’s going to be a difficult decision, it’s completely up to Jack as well. There is a friendly coming up in June, you never know he could play 45 minutes for Ireland and 45 minutes for England.

That was meant light-heartedly but Grealish's clarification may be taken slightly more seriously.

He started playing for Ireland when he was 14 and just went with the flow, everybody is talking a bit serious about it now and what is he going to do, over the past few months I have been asked the question loads of time.

'Just went with the flow' doesn't sound overly positive but one way or another Grealish Snr should probably get used to fielding more and more questions over the next few weeks and months.
