If Tim Sherwood is remembered fondly by anyone it will be Jack Grealish. Yes, he had to lay down the law with him once or twice but it was under Sherwood's guidance that Grealish began to flourish for Villa.

Therefore it comes as no surprise that the young midfielder was quick to take to Twitter to react to the news that Sherwood had been sacked this morning.

Meanwhile David Moyes leads the betting to replace Sherwood, with Brendan Rodgers second favourite. Roy Keane, for what it's worth, is 10-1. I wonder what Grealish would make of that appointment?
