The saga continues. Jack Grealish has taken to Twitter today to rubbish reports that he is set to make his full Ireland debut in the friendly against the USA next month.
Using the monkey-covering-its-eyes emoji to presumably express exasperation, he said:
Some stuff in the papers today about me that I didn't even no myself ????

Of, course, this doesn't suggest that he has rejected the call, or that he won't eventually make his Irish debut. With Jack's youth and a relative abundance of similar players in the current Irish setup, he is to be admired for his measured response to the situation.
UPDATE 15:45: The Irish Times have reported this afternoon that despite Grealish's tweet earlier today he is still in line to make his debut in the game against the States. They cite sources close to the player who remain confident that he will commit to O'Neill's squad next month.
