Reports that the Ivory Coast player Serey Die's father had died have been rejected by the player himself.
The story had flown around the internet but the player has taken to instagram to deny the story, and said that his Dad had in fact died in 2004.
Hello just telling you that talk about my father was wrong because he died in 2004. It is just the emotions of pride to be Ivorian and serve my country that have made me cry...
