Oliver Kahn - he who only conceded goals at the 2002 World Cup to players named Ronaldo and Robbie Keane - has today taken aim at the Ronaldo who did not give him nightmares in Japan and South Korea with a comment that we hope says more about the Portuguese than it does about Kahn himself.
Kahn was speaking to German media outlet Sport, where he criticised Madrid's performance in their 2-0 defeat to Wolfsburg. He chose to direct his disappointment towards Ronaldo, skewering his famous narcissism by saying that "I've seen Ronald's abs more than my wife's breasts recently". It is a reference to this classic post - Classico photograph, in which set 'end-of-Breaking-Bad-series-four' levels of tension:
Khan also brought up his mammori- sorry, memories of Ronaldo's performance against Wolfsburg:
It seemed almost as if they were offended they had to play here in Wolfsburg. ... Neither Cristiano nor Bale look comfortable with the defensive work and that always leaves space for the rival full-backs.
Fantastic from Khan. Although his satire of that photograph was matched by this Dutch second-division side Almere City:

Ronaldo will have to be on-form in the return leg against Bernabeu to avoid Madrid's season going totally tits-up.
Sorry.
