This is Leeds United's Giuseppe Bellusci, a 25-year-old defender on loan from Catania whom Peacocks boss Neil Redfearn has favourably compared to Roy Keane for his warrior-like attitude and constant intensity. We don't remember Roy Keane ever doing this, though:
The 82nd minute fee kick put Leeds 2-1 up against Bournemouth last night. They would go on to win 3-1. Surprisingly, given the quality of the strike, it was only Bellusci's second ever goal as a professional.
Redfearn's gushing was high praise indeed for a lad who doesn't even play in the same position as Keane, He told LUTV:
Giuseppe showed great technique to get the ball up and over the wall like he did to put it in the top corner,
He is a tough cookie and he doesn’t give up; he is a warrior and a battler.
He plays a little bit close to the edge, but there are a lot of top players that have been like that.
Roy Keane was a little bit like that, not far off being a booking or a sending off. But those players make you winners.
