It was thought that Liverpool would have a quiet summer in the transfer window, but they appear to be getting some business done. Konstantinos Tsimikas joined earlier this week, while the long mooted move for Thiago Alcantara has taken a step forward today according to BILD.
Another player who has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield is Ismaila Sarr. The Watford winger had a very impressive campaign in the Premier League and is expected to leave the club after their relegation.
A number of players have been linked, with Sarr speaking about a potential move to Liverpool today.
Speaking to Les Echos, the Senegalese winger said he would certainly welcome a move to Merseyside.
Liverpool are a really great team – everyone would love to play there.
They won the Premier League this year and the Champions League last year, but also there are great teams in the English league.
Frankly, I have yet to make a choice. If that were to happen, I just wish they were a good team. At the moment, there are only guesses.
Sarr is close to compatriot Sadio Mane, who he asked Troy Deeney to 'take care of his boy' after Watford's visit to Anfield in December of last year.
“Take care of my boy.”

Sarr probably wouldn't come cheap. He set Watford back a fee of around £30million last summer, and you would assume they will be looking to make a profit on that figure.
He would certainly be a great addition to the Liverpool squad if he were to make the move. Jurgen Klopp's side have lacked a bit of quality at times when one of their front three was not available and Sarr would be a major upgrade on other players in the squad.
