American youtuber and twitch star IShowSpeed was dismayed to find out that his idol Cristiano Ronaldo did not win the Ballon D'or.

In his latest livestream on Youtube, the 17-year-old decided to check who won the Ballon D'or, demonstrating his lack of football knowledge in the process.

Ahead of clicking the search result for the winner, he declared that he would be pissed off if his favourite footballer Ronaldo did not win it.

Utter Confusion

Instead of being disappointed, the American was utterly confused as he thought a girl won the Ballon D'or.

A girl won the D'or, a girl did! A women won the D'or, so she's better than Ronaldo.

Of course, the search results were referring to Alexis Putellas, who won the Balon d'Or Féminin. Eventually, he found the right winner, Benzema and voiced his frustration.

How did Benzema win it, he had one good season, the d'Or is all around. Who should have really won the d'Or is Ronaldo!

Ronaldo's most passionate fan

Speed -  whose real name is Darren Watkins - has been incredibly passionate about his idol. He declared on Twitter that he is going to be dedicating his life convincing people to call Ronaldo the "GOAT".

He also used Ronaldo's iconic celebration in the Sidemen Charity Match. Believing he scored a goal, the 17-year-old imitated the famous celebration shouting SIU. However, the goal was later ruled to be offside.

Worst Ballon d'Or Finish Since 2005

For Ronaldo himself, his 20th place finish at the Balon d'Or was his worst since 2005. It is his latest disappointment after returning to Manchester United last year. The Portuguese forward has endured a horrible start to this season, only scoring one goal so far in the Premier League. Manager Erik Ten Hag seems to not trust the superstar as he has only started twice. Considering his difficulties this season, a worse finish next year is looking increasingly likely.
