Arsenal are currently in talks with Cork City to bring their talented right-back Brian Lenihan to The Emirates.
Dubbed "the new Seamus Coleman" (although I'm sure we can expect that for any talented young player in the Airtricity League), Cork City's Brian Lenihan has been scouted by Arsenal numerous times and according to the Evening Echo, talks are currently ongoing between the two clubs over a potential transfer.
Arsenal have a vacancy at right-back following the departure of Bacary Sagna, but it is unlikely that Lenihan is being pursued with a view to filling that role. Should he make the move, the 20-year-old defender who can also operate in the centre of defence and midfield, would be providing competition with Carl Jenkinson for the spot behind a new marquee signing.
Lenihan is an integral part of the Ireland U21 side, and he will be hoping to get a chance to prove himself at the Premier League level should he complete the move to Arsenal.
