After recently announcing his decision to leave Malaga, Irish U15 International Caden McLoughlin has signed for Villarreal.
McLoughlin has lived in Spain from a young age and has made quite the impression at Malaga since joining in 2016 from local club Esteponense.
After scoring 22 goals in 27 appearances at U15 level for Malaga, the attacker backed it up with a string of impressive performances at international level too.
McLoughlin has scored 5 goals in 9 appearances for Ireland U15s, including strikes against England, the Netherlands, and a hat-trick vs Luxembourg.
The attacker can play on either flank or upfront.
While McLoughlin still has plenty of developing to do, the move is incredibly exciting given Villarreal's recent resurgence in La Liga.
'The Yellow Submarine' finished the season in fifth and qualified for the Europa League.
The Irish international announced the move via Instagram.
All the best to him at the new club.
