The Irish Premiership may well have thrown up the goal of the afternoon from Ards' Michael McLellan.
Scrambling round at the wrong end of Northern Ireland's top flight, Ards travelled to face Cliftonville in the hope that they could kick-start a season that has been lagging.
Leading 1-0 at the break in Solitude, the goal came from a moment of opportunistic brilliance. Spotting the Cliftonville 'keeper a little further from his line than he perhaps ought to have been, McLellan - in a not wholly dissimilar fashion to Sheffield Wednesday's Adam Reach - unleashed a strike from some distance.
Sailing into the back of the net, it was a truly special hit that the Northern Irish player will remember for some time to come.
