Irish-Polish Cultural Exchange In The Wee Hours Of Last Night In Sopot

The quality on these videos isn't phenomenal but the sentiment is beautiful. Basically, following Poland's late goal which kept them in the tournament, Irish and Polish fans essentially merged into a singular craic force in many parts of Sopot last night. In these videos, a gaggle of Polish and Irish fans celebrate. Listen to how the Polish fans participate in the 'Stand Up For The Boy In Green' chant only to turn it into a Polish song. The Irish fans only seem delighted to sing in Polish. The Polish fella in the Slainte shirt seems especially delighted. Great to such solidarity between Paddies and Poles.

EDIT - Thanks a million to the lads from The Score who informed us that the Poles were actually singing their own song: Polska Bialo Czerwoni. Lyrics: 'Poland, The Red and Whites'.
